LEINENKUGEL’S SUMMER SHANDY TO RETURN TO SHELVES EARLIER THAN USUAL

Some may rely on a groundhog to tell us warmer weather is on its way. Around here, it’s the return Summer Shandy to liquor store shelves.
Now, normally the seasonal favorite doesn’t come out until March but the distribution will start in February and run though September.
According to Bring Me The News:
“What we’ve learned through data is that Summer Shandy outperforms, in terms of rate of sale, many of the winter seasonals that are existing,” says Leinenkugel’s President Tony Bugher said in a press release. “Summer is a state of mind. We’re going to have it out there as early as we can”
Hard to argue with that. Here’s to the first Summer Shandy on the first boat ride of the year!!
