Well, your favorite team may not be in the Big Game this year. We may as well look forward what we’re serving.
But what was the most popular snack in the United States overall? A new poll found that meatballs took the top spot in five states. Followed by guacamole, chips and salsa, and chili. All solid choices in my opinion.
Here in the midwest, we leaned toward the comfortable and familiar. In Minnesota, Iowa and in both Dakotas, Tater Tots were the most popular. In Wisconsin, queso took the top spot. But why did the tot not take number one? You go anywhere and you have the option of tots or fries, you’re always going tots, right?
Heck, if you show up to the big game party with a pan of tater tots, there’s no way that won’t be a hit. I’m willing to bet that may be the major topic of conversation.
“Hey! Who brought the giant pan of tater tots?”
“Yeah it was Jeff. Jeff really came though. Best Super Bowl party ever”
Or I’d like to imagine that’s how that would go.
