WEEZER FRONTMAN DUETS WITH WISCONSIN TIKTOK-ER

The Internet just continues to be a weird and wonderful place.
Evan Marselli performs in a band called Diet Lite and wanted to gain a larger TikTok audience. For three years, Evan played a guitar riff from the famous Weezer song, “Buddy Holly” in hopes that front man Rivers Cuomo would duet with him.
Now, Evan got close to a thousand days of posting the riff when Rivers finally responded on day 991.
Weezer has now invited Evan to play with the band as they embark on tour this summer. They’ll play Madison on June 14th.
