ARIZONA CITY CHANGING NAME IN HONOR OF TAYLOR SWIFT

You may have already known that Taylor Swift is a big deal. College courses studying her lyrics. Stadium tours selling out immediately. But this is a whole new level of being a big deal.
Tay’s “Era’s” Tour set to kick off at State Farm Stadium on March 18th and in celebration, the city of Glendale, Arizona has declared that they’re temporarily changing the name of the city in honor of her.
They’ll announce the official name on Monday, March 13th and Mayor Jerry Weiers made the official statement:
There is no need to calm down, we’re fearless and doing something highly unusual to celebrate the fact that Taylor’s concerts start right here! We know all too well that she’s one of the most influential artists of her generation and we are writing our own love story for her and greeting every Swiftie in style!
