PRICE INCREASES EXPECTED FOR DISNEY+ AND HULU

Hey, remember when cutting the cord saved you a bunch of money and you didn’t feel price gouged within an inch of your life? Yeah, that was a great few weeks.
Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that in an effort to be profitable, Disney+ and Hulu ad-free subscriptions will be raised. Disney+ will increase from $10.99 to $13.99 and Hulu will go from $14.99 to $17.99 a month.
According to the Associated Press:
The Disney CEO acknowledged that the price hikes are intended to steer consumers toward cheaper ad-supported versions of these services, whose subscription prices are not changing.
They also have seen the “positive” impact that cracking down on password-sharing Netflix is currently experiencing and are looking into taking a similar path.
