OKTOBERFEST IS ALMOST HERE!

With 2 parades and 4 main days of events, Oktoberfest is something spectacular! Hannah Amundson, Executive Director of Oktoberfest USA, stopped in to go over some highlights:
ADVANCE TICKETS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Grab ’em now here and link your credit or debit card so you can be ready with your RFID, too, since it is a CASHLESS event. Even the food and other vendors will take the RFID on your wristband so you’re all set.

Highlights:
Craft Beer Night on Thursday at the Downtown Festgrounds. VIP is sold out but GA tickets are still available HERE and they include your admission all weekend! Plus, college night: Free admission for with a valid college student ID on Thursday 9/25.
The Torchlight Parade and after Glow Party are also Thursday on the Northside.
Join us at Brothers Friday morning at 6 am before the tapping for the Z93 Morning Buzz Oktoberfest Breakfast! We’ll have great drink specials, breakfast, live polka with Brian Brueggen & The Mississippi Valley Dutchmen, and you could win the Stein Holding or Kraut eating Contests.
Then, Friday at 11 AM is the ceremonial Tapping of the Golden Keg, with live music, great beer, and good company. New this year – gates open at 9 AM!
The Special Fester’s Carnival is on the Northside rom 11-2 Friday, other carnival hours are 5-9 Friday and Saturday. No Oktoberfest admission wristband is required for Copeland Park.
Saturday is the Maple Leaf Parade and the Festgrounds are open all day with fantastic live music, food, bevvies and more.
SUNDAY IS FREE ADMISSION and free parking at the Festgrounds. Experience the food, music, and beverages, with a lot less people.
