Wisconsin’s 78th Alice in Dairyland, Sarah Hagenow joined the Morning Buzz to talk about her plans for the rest of her year as Alice, the recent finals, and the winner:
In the first round of the selection process, applications are evaluated on resumes, personal interviews, and communications ability. All six candidates received an official Agricultural Marketing and Communications Certificate that demonstrates the skills they’ve gained over the last 10 weeks and recognizes their time and effort in the Alice in Dairyland selection process.
The 79th Alice in Dairyland Finals were last weekend and they announced the 79th Alice in Dairyland, Anastasia Poull of Port Washington!
Sarah is still Alice until July 6 so she’s looking forward to June Dairy Month! There are many exciting activities that community members can engage with to learn more about Wisconsin’s dairy tradition, such as dairy breakfasts, community promotional events, enjoying dairy products, and much more.
