KIDS LAUNCH ENCOURAGEMENT HOTLINE

We all need someone to talk to sometimes, even our kiddos. There’s a new number that kids, and adults, can call for encouragement, advice, and joy.
The free hotline, Peptoc, is a project from West Side Elementary school, a small school in Healdsburg, Calif. If you want to help fund this line, donations can be made at their GoFundMe page.
When you call the number, 707-998-8410 you’ll have a few options from the students: “If you’re feeling mad, frustrated or nervous, press 1. If you need words of encouragement and life advice, press 2. If you need a pep talk from kindergartners, press 3. If you need to hear kids laughing with delight, press 4. For encouragement in Spanish, press 5.”
Not only encouragement and children laughing, but also some solid suggestions of cookies and ice cream.
