ALLIGATOR CAUGHT AFTER SWIMMING ONTO FLORIDA BEACH

“You know, this is Florida, anything can happen,” one beach goer said.
Trust me. We know.
An alligator was spotted swimming onto Hillsboro Beach, located in South Florida, Monday afternoon. The gator was estimated to be about 6 feet long.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials quickly responded to the scene and relocated the animal. Alligators can only survive in salt water for a short time and officials believe the animal may have gotten lost in a canal and got swept into the ocean.
